Thursday the Lady Dawgs traveled to Wausa to take on the Vikings and the Leigh Panthers. Creighton battled with Wausa at 5 pm yesterday. The ladies took the first set with ease. 25-16. The second set the Lady Dawgs battled hard and came away with a 31-29 to win the match. Leigh was next on the tri schedule. The Panthers took the first set 25 to 21. The second set went back and forth and lost the final set 26 to 24.
Creighton Bulldogs traveled to Bloomfield to battle the Bees. The game was a battle and the score remained 0 to 0 in the first half. The Bulldogs. Haiden Horstmann struck first, taking a 6-0 lead. The Bees answered with a touchdown thrown by Ayrion Barger to Max Bruce. Jaxson Woods worked down the field to take it in for a touchdown. Haiden Horstman would run one more touchdown in to capture the win. Final Score 20-6.
Sunday will kick off Homecoming for the Bulldogs. The Boosters will start the week with a Bonfire Sunday evening at 6:30. The week will continue with spirit days. Monday is Country vs Country Club, Tuesday Princess vs Superhero, Wednesday Toddler vs Senior Citizen, Thursday Teacher vs Student Swap, Friday is Red and Black Spirit Day. Bulldogs Battle Laurel in Season Matchup The Creighton Bulldogs took the field against Laurel in a hard-fought football matchup. Bulldogs Rally to Defeat Winside in Four Sets The Creighton Bulldogs volleyball team battled back after a tough opening set to earn a 3-1 victory over Winside . Winside came out strong in the first set, defeating Creighton 25-15 . Instead of letting the early loss set the tone for the match, the Bulldogs regrouped and took control. Bulldogs Compete at Hartington Cross Country Meet The Creighton Cross Country team hit the road for Hartington, where runners tested their endurance against a strong field of competitors.
